At Death Row Dogs Sanctuary, our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs from shelters where their lives are in jeopardy. Many dogs struggle to succeed in traditional shelter environments, where stress can escalate quickly and their mental and behavioral health deteriorates. Too often, dogs are labeled unadoptable not because they are unsafe or undeserving, but because the environment does not meet their needs. Death Row Dogs Sanctuary exists to provide a more appropriate setting where dogs can decompress, heal, and thrive.

We also support our community by providing emergency boarding for dogs whose owners are entering drug and alcohol treatment programs. Our goal is to prevent unnecessary surrender and work toward reunification whenever possible.
